SACHAHUARES EXPERIENCE is a tourism agency that invites you to experience daily life of the farmers on the edge of the Amazon forest.

The SACHAHUARES farm is located in Chahuares, a small village in the district of Echarati in the province of La Convencion. The climate is tropical so that we grow plants such as banana, cacao, coffee, mango, papaya and others.

At the farm you can learn about the different varieties of crops and learn to harvest and process them. You can also stay a couple of days with a farmer’s family in the community and join them during their working day.

We work together with the NGO SACHA HUASI. This NGO elaborates projects for the local farmers on organic agriculture and also promotes the conservation of the ecology. To finance these projects, the NGO depends on the income gained from the tourist activities. So, when you participate in the program of SACHAHUARES, you are giving your support to the projects of SACHA HUASI and the farmers of the region.
